THE 6 LAB ELEMENTS
element 1 – anatomy
Health is something that we should pursue. If we aren’t healthy we can’t help others grow and become healthy. There are 4 pieces to anatomy that we need to constantly focus on and assess to be healthy.
element 2 – mapping
The best way to develop the right programs is to develop a roadmap, with an end goal, that you want students to travel on. The roadmap will have 4 key categories that all your programming will fall into.
element 3 – communication recipe
Everybody has a recipe for preaching. Does your recipe taste good to your students or do some ingredient amounts need to be adjusted, removed or new ingredients added?
element 4 – culture creation
Culture is a tricky thing. Most of the time we pick up pieces of culture from other churches but that causes more frustration then success. That is why it’s so important to establish our own culture.
element 5 – timebox
Managing time better we: reduce stress, gain more time, add more opportunities, have higher quality work, and the list goes on and on.
element 6 – teamS
Volunteers are a huge part of ministry. We will always need more and will always need to take care of the one’s we have with us. 2 key questions for success with volunteers: are they the right F.I.T.? Do we give them appreciation, celebration and encouragement?
